Professor A. Damodaran currently serves as Senior Visiting Professor with the Digital Economy, Start-up and Innovation (DESI) team at ICRIER. He brings deep expertise in digital innovation, environmental economics, and regulatory policy, with over three decades of academic and policy experience. His work has focused extensively on emerging digital technologies, blockchain-based financing models, and the intersection of climate and biodiversity governance with digital infrastructure. Professor Damodaran previously held a senior faculty position at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he led several interdisciplinary initiatives on climate finance, digital regulatory frameworks, and decentralised economic systems.
